Vuel Anderson, 77, of Cheyenne died Nov. 18 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 24, 1924, in Verona, Ark., and had lived here for 29 years with prior residence in Grand Junction, Colo.

Mr. Anderson had retired from Ringsby Trucking and Laramie County School District 1. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Barbara Anderson of Cheyenne; five sons, John Anderson of Missouri, Gary Anderson of Grand Junction, Kevin Anderson of Phoenix, Charles Mayfield of Cheyenne and Jon Mayfield of Clarksville, Ky.; three daughters, Toni Keslar of Cheyenne, Stacy Livingston of Fort Collins, Colo., and Lisa Mayfield of Cheyenne; two sisters, Viva Trammell of Harrison, Ark., and Willidean Trammell of Lowell, Ark.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Allie Anderson, and a brother, J.R. Anderson.
