Funeral services for Kathryne Reed Huey, 85, of Carthage were conducted June 21 at Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. A. N. Tiller officiating. Burial was in Restland Memorial Park.

Mrs. Huey died June 19 at Panola General Hospital. She was born Aug. 17, 1894. A native of Pecan Gap, Texas, she has resided in Panola County for the past 25 years. Mrs. Huey was a retired private nurse, and also a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William A. Morgan and Nancy Elizabeth Mullins Morgan.

Survivors include: Two daughters, Kathryne Watson of Carthage and Mrs. Ira Collum of Tyler; one son, Harold Reed of Carthage; two sisters, Nina McCollum of El Cajon, Calif. and Alma Wilson of Napa, Calif.; one brother, G. A. Morgan of Albuquerque, N.M.; and nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
