Funeral services were held Nov. 13 at the Wetumka Indian Baptist Church for Cindy Kay Shell. Rev. Don Tiger officiated at the services.
Ms. Shell was born March 13, 1967 in Kansas City, Mo. to Steve and Pearline Joyce (Harjo) Shell and died Nov. 9 in Tulsa at the age of 40.
She was raised in the Tulsa area where she attended Union High School. She later moved to Bixby where she was a homemaker and employed by the Dollar Thrifty Store in the Risk Management department. Her hobbies and interests include cooking, attending her children's sporting events and activities and spending time with her nephews. She attended Snake Creek Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Steve and Joyce Shell, and a sister, Kimberly Kay Shell.
Interment was at the Wetumka Indian Baptist Church under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home.
