Mrs. Boyd Davis
Mrs. BOYD DAVIS passed away Thursday, August 24. She had given birth to a fine son, appeared to be doing well when she left the Ryan hospital but suddenly took a turn for the worse and died in a very short time. Mrs. Davis was born at Okolona, Mississippi April 4, 1914, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. SULLIVAN, now of Union Valley. She was 26 years old. On January 6, 1934 she married BOYD DAVIS at Waurika. She was a member of the Ryan Baptist Church, joining in 1938.
Funeral services were held at the Ryan Baptist Church Saturday afternoon. The sermon was preached by Rev. HARRY ROARK of Santa Fe, Oklahoma; Rev. ED SHIRLEY of Oklahoma Baptist University read the scripture and Rev. KELLER of the Ryan Baptist Church said prayer.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Sullivan; two brothers, J. D. Jr. and DOY; one sister Mrs. HERBERT KNIGHTSTEP; her husband BOYD DAVIS and one son MICHAEL DAN.
