He married Patricia Storer in June 1951 in Tasco. He was a farmer and worked for the state of Kansas in the civil engineering field.
Survivors include his wife, Tasco; three sons, Kim Adams, Coalmont, Colo., Corky Adams, Thornton, Colo., and Terry Adams, Hoxie; a daughter, Kanda Jones, Hoxie; a sister, Jean Vickers, Hoxie; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
