He married Betsy Reed before 1815.

1. a quotation from page 13 "A sawmill and single mill were built in Massena Village by Calvin Hubbard in 1803 and a gristmill in 1808."
2. On the page called "Back Matter" with town statistics showed Calvin Hubbard a Supervisor in 1812 and a Post Master on Sept. 19, 1811.

2. Page 407 Calvin Hubbard was the first postmaster of Massena.

Calvin is interred at the "Second Congregational Church Cemetery on West Orvis Street" in Massena. Buried next to him is his married daughter, Clarissa Hubbard Smith.
