Gertrude Porter was born at Rochester, Fulton County, Indiana on November 9, 1876 and married in that County May 1, 1900. Three years later they moved to Forest Grove where they resided, except for five years in Yamhill County.
Survived by her husband and six children, the youngest 22 months old; one brother, Wayne of Rainier, Oregon and two sisters in Indiania. Mr. Allen was teaching at Purdin School.
