Born in Czechoslovakia on July 3, 1888, he came to this country 50 years ago and had been a resident of Masury for the past 38 years. He was married to the former Mary Wojtko, who died on March 13, 1943.
He was retired from the General American Transportation Corp., where he was employed as a car repairman, and was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite.
Surviving are three daughters, Irene, wife of Daniel Long, Warren, Ohio; Ann, wife of Phillip McMichael of Youngstown, and Mary, wife of Woodrow Rotenbery of Pensacola, Florida; a son, Michael Jr., of Vienna; a sister, Mrs Andrew J. Ducko of Trenton, N.J., and ll grandchildren.
