Ruth Marie Addington, 75
UNION CITY, Ind. - Ruth Marie Addington, 75, died Sunday at her home. Mrs. Addington was born in Darke, County, Ohio, and worked at Westinghouse. She was a member of Fort Recovery Church of the Nazarene, where she was a former Sunday school teacher. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Gerald (Bill) Addington; three sons, Bill Addington and Dave Addington, both of Union City, and Mark Addington, Fort Recovery, Ohio; four daughters, Nila Scholl, Indianapolis, Ardith Rohrer (husband: Jerry) and Susie Sullenbarger (husband: Jim), both of Union City, and Sandy Imel (husband: Keith), Fort Recovery, Ohio; a sister, Doris Day, Fort Recovery; 25 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Sarah L. Watkins Potter. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fort Recovery Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. John Perkins and Rev. Verl Ballmer officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Fort Recovery. Calling will be 2-9 p.m. today at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, and 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be sent to Fort Recovery Church of the Nazarene.
