Born in Jubilee Twp. Son of Andrew & Elizabeth (Wakefield) Bush, husband of Etta Lawson, m. Jan 16, 1877.

George Wilson Bush, Prominent Resident Dies December 16

George Wilson Bush was born in Jubilee township, April 12, 1857 and died in Princeville 16, aged 89 years, 8 months and 4 days.
(Obituary clipping cut off) ….four children: Joseph, who died at the age of three years; Rose E. Mendenhall and Maude R .Bouton, both of Princeville; Mrs. Myrtle M. Forney, who die May 20, 1909.
Those immediate family who mourn his departure are the two daughters, Rose and Maude; two sisters; Mrs. Sophia Harrison of Peoria; and a brother Charles in Saskatchewan, Canada. There are also seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and number of nieces and nephews.
He joined the Princeville M. E. church during the successful pastorate of Rev. Alexander Smith. He had the respect and love of a wide circle of friends and neighbors and especially the young people. He lived most of his life in the Princeville community.
