Frances A. Hoag, 81, of Monica died at 7:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Born June 15, 1917, in Monica to Perry Oscar and Ada Louise Berry Camp, she married William Hoag Jr. on Aug. 1, 1943, in Monica. He died May 22, 1986, in Peoria. She also was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. Surviving are one son, Dennis of Monica; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a secretary and bookkeeper for Amoco Oil Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of the Historical Association of Princeville and the Princeville Women's Club.

She was a member of Monica United Methodist Church and its Happy Hour Club.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at her church. The Rev. Rick Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home in Princeville. Burial will be in Princeville Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to her church.
