COLUMBUS - Jean (Cooper) Allison, 76, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at St. Ann's Hospital. She owned her own real estate company and enjoyed working for many years as a realtor. Jean was an advocate for the Afghan Hound Rescue of Central Ohio. She was also an avid sewer. Survived by husband of 58 years, Robert Allison; children, Sue Allison Roberts, Kay (Kevin) Resch and Rick (Julie) Allison; grandchildren, Timothy (Babette), Allison, Christopher, and Jeremy Resch, Sara (Edward) Jordan and Samantha Allison; great-granddaughter, Abigail Jordan; sister-in-law, Maxine McCoy; along with special pet companions Brock and Judah. Preceded in death by parents, Richard and Edna Cooper. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Road, where a funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008. Interment in Kingwood Memorial Park, Lewis Center, Ohio.
