CARTHAGE - Funeral services for Barbara Bryan, 66, of Carthage, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at Jimerson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William C. Everett officiating. Entombment will be at Restland Memorial Park. Mrs. Bryan passed away Friday, Jan. 21, in Tyler.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, at the funeral home.

Born Barbara Sue Ratcliff on Sept. 12, 1938, she was the daughter of the late J.C. and Iola Nelson Ratcliff Sr. and was reared in Hall Summit, Red River Parish, La., where she graduated from high school. Formerly of New Iberia, La., and other areas of south Louisiana, she had lived in Carthage since 1977. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, she was very active in fellowship with others, especially other church members, and her church family was very important to her.

Survivors include her son, David Bryan of Big Sandy; two daughters, Diane Phillips of Orange and Cynthia Bryan of Carthage; brother Joe "Bud" C. Ratcliff Jr. of Waskom; two sisters, Iva Moseley of Shreveport and JoAnn Atwood of Baton Rough, La; three grandsons, Justin Phillips, Lee Phillips and Matthew Bryan; several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Justin Phillips, Lee Phillips, Matthew Bryan, Greg Moseley, Elvis Robinson Jr., Steve Ratcliff and Butch Graham.
