Pasquel "Baby" Almendarez Jr., a Stockdale, Texas, resident for the past 5 years, passed away Monday, March 26, 2007, at the age of 32 years, 4 months, and 11 days.

He was born in San Antonio on Nov. 15, 1974, to Angelita Morales Almendarez and Pasquel Almendarez Sr.

His father and two brothers preceded him in death.

Surviving Pasquel are his mother, Angelita Almendarez of Stockdale; sisters Rosa Garza of Mendenhall, Miss., Diana Albragaria of Converse, and Sylvia DeLeon and Linda Laijas Almendarez, both of Stockdale; his brothers, Joe Morales of Poth and Roland Almendarez of Elmendorf; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A prayer service was held Friday, March 30, at 7 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Floresville. Graveside services took place Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Stockdale City Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Jones officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were Jason G. Gomez, Noah A. Garcia, Rudy Reyna, Paul Chavez, Adam Arce, and Eloy Rodriguez.
