Mrs. Harris was born in Bryan and had lived in Fort Worth since 1920. She was a member of the Petroleum Club and the Woman's Club of Fort Worth.
Memorials: First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, Presbyterian Night Shelter or Saint Joseph Hospice.
Survivors: Son, Newton Temple Harris III of Agua Dulce, Calif.; daughter, Mary Dee Harris of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
