Andrew James McCook, 63, vice-president of the JoAnn Ice Cream company, died yesterday at a local hospital after a long illness. He was a retired independent oil operator, a member of the First Baptist Church, the El Karubah Shrine Temple and Hiram (Masonic) Lodge No. 38 at Natchitoches.
He is survived by two brothers, Dr. J. W. McCook of Natchitoches and Walter T. McCook of Shreveport; a nephew, Daniel G. McCook of Natchitoches, now in the Navy; and a niece, Norma Ann McCook of Shreveport.
