Born in Wellsville, New York on 12/21/1947, Mrs. Williams moved to Lakeland in 1968. She was an executive secretary for State Farm's regional office. She loved the outdoors and travelling. She loved to hunt and she was a member of the National Wildlife Turkey Federation and Women of the Outdoors. She attended Fellowship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Lambert, and her step-son, Paul B. Williams. She is survived by her father, Charles Lambert; her step-mother, Shirley Lambert; her husband, Robert E. Williams, Sr.; her son, Michael (Veronica) Harder; her step-son, Robert (Vicky) Williams, Jr.; and 3 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Tuesday, 9/16/2008 from 10-11am with funeral services following at 11am at Fellowship Baptist Church, 4625 Cleveland Heights Boulevard, Lakeland, with Pastor Richard Piatt officiating. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park in Auburndale. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Services and arrangements by Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes, Southside Chap-el.
