ALVAH V. BODAMER
Alvah V. bodamer, 75, of 755 Spring Street, Valparaiso, a retired farmer, died at 9 pm Saturday at Porter Memorial hospital after a short illness.
He was the eldest son of the late John and Adelia (Nichols) Bodamer and was born in 1879. He spent his entire life in Porter county.
In 1907 he was married to Carolny Louise Wolfe, who survives. Surviving beside his widow are one brother, Herman Bodamer, Valparaiso and four foster children, Mrs. Lora Freese, Mrs. Margaret Morehouse and Mrs. Clara Ogden, all of Lafayette, and Mrs. Wanda Phillips of Valparaiso.
Friends may call this evening at the LePell Funeral home, where services will be held Tuesday. the Rev. Carl Q. Baker of the First Methodist church will officiate. Burial will take place in Moser cemetery.
