Daughter of John Kendle(1803-1888)and Elizabeth Troyer (1815-1915) and they were married in September 3,1833 in Holmes County, Ohio.USA.
John Kendle was a Mennoite whose ancesters were Mennonites for many years.

Elizabeth comes from a long line of Amish ancesters. Her Amish ancesters were some of the main Amish fmailies who came to the USA, from Swizerland, in the 1700s to live in PA colonizing the Norkill Amish settlement. This settlement made history due to the savage indian attack apon one of the peaceful Amish families. There was a lot of unrest and misstrust going on for the indians because of the way they had been lied to, used and stolen from. Sadly those indians took their frustration out on the peaceful Amish who had nothing to do with stealing their land.
