Antonio Jaramillo Garcia, 52, of Oxnard, passed away Sept. 14, 2008, after a long-term illness.
He was born Jan. 4, 1956, in Abasolo, Guanajuato, Mexico. Antonio was a Ventura County resident for 38 years, coming from Texas. He was owner and operator of Tony's Custom Upholstery.
Antonio liked drawing, working out, soccer, boxing, camping, and enjoyed being with his family.
He is survived by his son Rene and wife Michele Monsivais; daughter Delena Monsivais; daughter Abigail Garcia and husband Rick Rodriguez; son Antonio Garcia Jr. (Jacki Williams); and grandchildren, Ryan, Caitlynn, Sara, Sean, Yasmin, Kaylene, Destiny, and Elijah.
Our Dad will be missed greatly. We will never forget the life lessons he taught us, how hard he worked to provide for his family. We take great comfort in knowing that our Dad accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and is walking alongside him on the golden streets in heaven.
A rosary will be recited at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Ivy Lawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow after rosary at Ivy Lawn Cemetery.
