Maria Rossow? [presumptive spelling] was born in Seedorf, Mecklenburg, Western Pomerania/Prussia [now Mecklenburg-Vorpommern]. She and her husband, Johann Christian Beyer, were the parents of two children. They "crossed the pond" with their daughter, Wilhelmina "Minnie." Five years later they'd settled in Bloomington, McLean Co, where their son, Charles [aka Karl] Johann Frederick Beyer was born.
