Lesta L. "Sally" Butcher 81, passed away at Manor Care South in Indianapolis on Sept. 1, 2008. She was born in Farmersburg, IN to the late Harold and Clara Hunt. [Birth certificate indicates Prairie Creek Township, Vigo County, Indiana. Name on birth certificate was Florine Hunt].
She married Forest Butcher on Dec. 30, 1957. He preceded her in death in April of 2007.
Sally was a homemaker and a wonderful caregiver to all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Taylor; her daughter, Carolyn S. (Dennis) Behrman; one brother, Albert L. Hunt; one sister, Florence O. Draper; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Sally was preceded in death by her son, Jimmie Lee Butcher; two brothers, Oscar "Boodge" Hunt and Walter L. Hunt and her sister, Bernadine M. Walker.
Services entrusted to Little and Sons Funeral Home.
