HAZEL DURHAM CARDOSI, 73, of Memphis, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2007. She was the wife of the late Dr. E.J. Cardosi, Jr. (Bip); beloved mother of Cindy Cardosi Maxwell (John), Mindy Cardosi Lazzarini (Marco), Pam Cardosi Walthall (Buzz), Edward Joseph Cardosi III, "Bip" (Michelle), all of Memphis and Christy Cardosi Boone (Brad) of Tulsa, OK. Her pride and joy were her fourteen grandchildren, Angelo Lazzarini, Ben Maxwell, Brittany Boone, Luca Lazzarini, Jack Maxwell, Baylor Boone, Barrett Walthall, Alec Cardosi, Isabella Cardosi, Melissa Maxwell, Brett Boone, Grayson Walthall, Bennett Boone and Aidan Cardosi. Mrs. Cardosi was preceded in death by her parents, Angris and Cynthia Durham, as well as a brother, Angris Marshall Durham, Jr.; and sister, Janie Durham Harris. She also leaves five sisters, Martha Durham Rice, Peggy Durham Lopez, Joyce Durham Phillips, Patricia Durham Murphy and Jackie Durham Williams. Mrs. Cardosi leaves three brothers, Billy Durham, Robert "Rocky" Durham and Mike Durham. Mrs. Cardosi was a longtime member of St. Ann of Bartlett Catholic Church, as well as an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was a dedicated leader with the bereavement ministry, ministry of the sick, Eucharistic Minister and fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, May 29 with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 30 at St. Louis Catholic Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests any memorials be sent to Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center in honor of Angelo and Luca Lazzarini or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Memphis in honor of Angelo and Luca Lazzarini.
