Colin K. Roudabush Sr.
Colin Kelvin Roudabush Sr., 67, 805 Bank Street, Shenandoah, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Roudabush was born Aug. 22, 1934, in Grove Hill, and was a son of the late Mervie and Elizabeth Lucille Mowbray Roudabush.

He served in the U.S. Navy for four years during the Korean Conflict.

He formerly worked as a mechanic at Myers Ford in Elkton and most recently at Pilgrims Pride of Alma for 32 years.

On Jan. 18, 1958, he married Muriel Brown Roudabush, who survives. Also surviving are four children, Timothy M. Roudabush, Colin Kelvin Roudabush Jr., Teresa A. Roudabush Painter, and Diane M. Roudabush Bosserman, all of Shenandoah; one brother, Charles H. Roudabush, Shenandoah; and five sisters, Charmaine Brown, Shenandoah, Gloria Griffith, Luray, Jeanne Clements, Greenville, Rebecca Greene, Winchester, and Patricia Whitmore, Timerberville; four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

The Rev. Hudson Nickols will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. at Shenandoah Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the Kyger Funeral Home in Shenandoah, or at the Roudabush residence at anytime.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1920H Medical Ave., Harrisonburg, Va. 22801 in his memory.
