Ethel Jones
Wellsville - Mrs. Ethel Mary Clutter Jones, 89, of the Betty Moore residence in Wellsville died Wednesday at 8:37 p.m. in East Liverpool City Hospital following an illness of several years. A former resident of Ohio Ave. in East Liverpool, Mrs. Jones was born Dec. 3, 1894 in Hookstown, Pa., a daughter of Jess Campbell and Rose Allison Campbell. She retired in 1975 as a gold stamper at Homer Laughlin China Co. in Newell. She was a member of Boyce United Methodist Church, honorary member of the Glass, Pottery, Plastics and Allied Workers International Union. Her husband, Milton Jones, died Dec. 10, 1961. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Margaret Hawkins of East Liverpool; three grandchildren and two great - grandchildren. Services are to be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. Terry Ray. Burial is to be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday afternoon and night.
