She grew up in Portland as the middle child in her family, with an older half-sister, THELMA CLAUDIA BENTLEY and a brother, JOHN AUSTIN RICHESON. MARY graduated from the University of Oregon and was married to a lovely man, WILLIAM MORRIS "MORRIE" ANDERSON. One of her hobbies was painting, and her volunteer service was given to adult literacy.
