Roxy was a one-and-a-half-year-old, spayed German Shepherd mix. She was adopted May 14, 2008, from the Harbor Animal Care Center in Los Angeles, but was later owner-surrendered to the Carson Animal Shelter in Gardena, California, after she attacked her owner's cat. The cat later died. Roxy entered the Carson Animal Shelter on July 8, 2008. Despite the efforts of many rescuers to spread the word and get her re-adopted, Roxy was not adopted, and she was euthanized July 20, 2008.
