Donald Dewalt Pace, son of Theodore & Ruth (Mayfield) Pace, was born in Chicago. He was a former resident of Converse, Indiana and Fort Pierce, Fla. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a Seabee. He married Gertrude M. Bingle on June 2, 1945. She truly was the love of his life. He retired from Hoosier Metal Fabricating, Gas City, and E.R.K. Manufacturing, Stuart, Fla. He worked part-time at Danny Dewitt's Machine Shop, Upland. He enjoyed fishing and lawn work. He loved spending time with his grandbabies and teaching them all he knew.
The father of three daughters, one preceded him in death in 1981. He is dearly missed by his Grandaughters Michele & Zettie and their children, Maddison,Elizabeth, Easton & Carter.
