William N. Brown was born May 2, 1926, in Ogdensburg, a son of Nelson and Mary Maroney Brown. He attended Ogdensburg schools. He married Mary Jane Brenno on Nov. 15, 1947, at Notre Dame Church, with the Rev. A.D. Charbonneau officiating.
Mr. Brown served with the Army during World War II in the Pacific theater. He was employed with Berst-Sorster-Dixfield Co. and was a truck driver with George Hall Trucking Co. for 17 years and with B.C. Trucking Co. until his retirement.
He was a communicant of Notre Dame Church.
