He is survived by his wife of 35 years; two daughters: Wanda A. Boyer and Betsy D. Taylor; two sons: David D. and Scott A; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Dereck; sister, Shirley; and brother, Bruce.
He retired from Union Roofing and was a 1960 graduate of Altoona High School. He served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam conflict and later served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Friends received afternoon and evening, June 26, 2007, at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. Funeral services held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday by the Reverend D. David McCaulley.
Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville, PA.
