My 2nd cousin. Named after my father, Moody Dale Cannon.

William D. "Bill" Cannon, 36, Liberal, KS died Saturday, June 22, 2002, from injuries he received in a pipeline accident.

He was born April 4, 1966, in Liberal to Lonnie and Dixie "Frazier" Cannon.

He married Patricia Ditton April 1, 2001, in Elko, Nev. She survives.

He grew up and went to school in Tyrone, Okla., graduating with the class of 1984.

He served four years in the United States Army, during which time he was stationed in the Sinai Peninsula and Honduras.

Survivors include his parents, of Tyrone; one son, Stephen Cannon, and one daughter, Brionne Cannon, both of Liberal; one brother, Craig Cannon, Wichita; three sisters, Carrie Cannon, Wichita, Jeannie Cannon, Tyrone and Becky Tovar, Garden City; former wife, Paula Cannon, Liberal; nine nieces and nephews, one grandnephew and one grandniece.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Frazier; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cannon.
