Mrs. Rebecca (Marshall) Lias, 93, widow of the late John Wesley Lias, died in her home at Dayton (Pa..) at 1:55 a.m. today (July 5,1958). Mrs. Lia.s had been ill for several weeks.

A daughter of William Marshall and Mary Ann Blair Marshall, she was born in Dayton Jan. 19, 1865. Mrs. Lias resided in Dayton her entire life.

She was married Nov. 4, 1887 to John Wesley Lias. he preceded her in death in 1938.

Mrs. Lias was an active lifelong member of the UnitedPresbyterian Church of Dayton and the Woman's Christian Temperance Union.

She is survived by three sons, Attorney Dale T. Lias of Pittsburgh, Thomas R. Lias of Dayton , and Ronald B. Lias of Los Angeles; twO daughters, Mrs. Marie Blaney of Kittanning and Mrs. Gladys Wilson of Dayton; 18 grandchlldren and 20 great grandchildren.

Four sons preceded her in death. She also leaves three sisters, Dr. Caroline S. Lias and Tirza M. Marshall, both of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Jemima Bott of Okmulgee, Okla.

Funeral services wIll be conducted from the home at 303 Grant Ave, Dayton at 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 7. Rev. Hugh Barbour, pastor of the United Presbyterlan Church of Dayton, wIll officiate.

Burial will be made in the United Presbyterian cemetery.

The Bly funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
