Kathryn G. DeLong, 90, of Hershey, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008 in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was born November 21, 1917 in West Hanover Twp., a daughter of the late Daniel and Lucy (Hetrick) Gerberich.
Mrs DeLong retired from the Kiss Department of Hershey Foods and was a member of the Fishburn United Methodist Church in Hershey and Chocolate Workers Local #464.
Surviving are a son, Daniel A. DeLong, Sr. and wife, Geraldine of Hershey; grandson, Daniel A. DeLong, Jr. and wife, Leslee; step-grandchildren, Suzanne Kory and husband, Lee, and Kevin Brown and wife Danielle; great grandchildren, Aiden and Noah DeLong; step-great-grandchildren, Michael and Taylor Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur DeLong in 1995; 3 brothers, Malon, Abe, and George; and 3 sisters, Beatrice, Betty, and Buelah.
Services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2008, at 11 a.m., in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route #422 & Lucy Avenue, Hershey. A visitation will be held Saturday from 10-11 a.m., in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery.
