He was a former Fort Worth Police officer and detective for North Richland Hills Police Department. He was a Marine Corps veteran and a member of North Park Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Jimmie Perkins Brown of Haltom City; three sons, Brett Brown of Fort Worth, Shawn Brown of Arlington and Matthew Brown of Haltom City; daughter, Brandy Brown of Haltom City; brother, Larry Brown of Crowley; two sisters, Jeanice Gaither and De Crawford, both of North Richland Hills; Two granddaughters Sandra and Pricilla Brown, one grandson Joey Brown.
