DANA WOODROW ANDERSON
Dana Woodrow Anderson, 85, of Willseyville, NY, died July 8, 2003 at his home.
Dana was born October 28, 1918 in Endicott, NY, to Claude and Mae Allen Anderson.
He worked at Candor Central School through Green Thumb program following his retirement as an auto mechanic at Zikakis Chevrolet in Ithaca, NY. He was a member of the Willseyville Baptist Church.
Dana was predeceased by his brother, Lester Anderson; and a sister, Ethel Anderson Middaugh.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Parker Anderson; a son, Wayne M. (Nancy) Anderson of Oxford, MD; a daughter, Melody M. Parsons of Selmar, TN; a brother, Claude (Junior) Anderson of Owego, NY; a sister, Apha Anderson Castline of Owego, NY; also five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2003 at 2 p.m. at the Willseyville Baptist Church, Willseyville, NY with Rev. Lee Mead officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service beginning at 12 noon.
Burial will be at Smith Valley Cemetery, Willseyville, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Willseyville Baptist Church, PO Box 31, Willseyville, NY 13864. Arrangements are by The Candor Funeral Parlour, 137 Main St., Candor, NY.
