Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Allen. He was a lifelong area resident and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from the City of Cayce Sanitation Department after many years of service.
He was a loving husband, father, stepfather, brother, nephew, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel M. Allen of Cayce [now deceased]; his daughter and her children; sons, daughters-in-law, and their children; stepdaughters and their children.
