Mrs. Austin was a sales clerk for the former F.W. Woolworth Co. in Ogdensburg for more than 20 years. She was then employed in the dietary department at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital for 14 years, retiring in 1989.
Mr. and Mrs. Austin had lived at their present home since 1970.
