Ronald Bennett, 59, of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Sunday Aug. 24, 2008, at a local hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kerry Killough officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the funeral home.
Ronald was born in Jasper, Tennessee, to Joe and Sadie (Keef) Bennett. He married Cheryl Lynn Wickstron on Aug. 5, 1972. Ronald retired from the U.S. Air Force on Dec. 31, 1989, after 22 years of service. He's been employed at L3 Communications for the past 19 years.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Bennett, of Lacy Lakeview; sons, Kenneth Bennett, of Ft. Worth and Ronald Lee Bennett, of Austin; sister, Daphne Smith, of Tennessee; brothers, Jimmy Bennett, Gary Steven Bennett, Joey Bennett and Raymond Bennett, all of Tennessee; grandson, Noah Robert Bennett; several nieces; and several nephews.
