CORINNE - Renee Bailey, 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2003, at her home in Corinne. She was born on April 29, 1936, in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of Jamesy Sheldon and Vivian Crowther Nelson. She graduated from Box Elder High School in 1953. Renee married Thomas O. Bailey on December 21, 1959, in Evanston, Wyoming.
She enjoyed making dolls (crochet) for all the family. She enjoyed sharing her crafts and ideas with everyone. Renee loved making sure everyone was happy and laughing. Whereever she went, she loved to take pictures.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas of Corinne; five sons: James P. of Ogden, Howard T. of Tennessee, John O., Thomas J., and Ron D., all of Corinne; six grandchildren; four brothers: Darrell Nelson of Brigham City, Dee Nelson of Idaho, Carl Nelson of Oregon, Max Nelson of Perry; two sisters, Myrna Ellis and Julia Waters both of Brigham City. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jack.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 1, at 1 p.m. at the Gillies-Petersen Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City. Friends may call on Wednesday from 12 noon to 12:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
