She was the daughter of Henry Holman and Elizabeth Jones, who moved to Callaway Co., Mo. in 1826. She died at home of her daughter America (Mecca) Caldwell (Mrs. John T.Bell). Her granddaughter, Zella Bell, of Henrietta, Okla., has in her possession a part of the diary written from May, 1899 until July, 1900. A more complete diary is in the possession of Dr. W.K. (Bill) Bell, of Jonesboro, Ark.
