ALBERTO CASSETTARI Of Fremont passed away after a long illness Saturday, September 13, 2003. Loving husband of 43 years to Sandra Cassettari of Fremont. Devoted father to Julie Goncalves of Fremont, Janice Peden (Kevin) of Fremont, Matthew Albert Cassettari of Banta. Cherished grandfather to Brian Goncalves, Melissa Goncalves and Daniel Peden. Dear brother to Nara Nelson of Vacaville and the late Celestino Cassettari. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, he was predeceased by his parents Lido and Ebe Cassettari. Born January 28, 1940 in Bagni De Lucca, Italy. Age 63. The owner of A.C.E. Fabrications for 11 years. Alberto was an avid hunter and fisherman, member of the California Water Fowl Association. He coached Little League for Niles/Centerville for over 10 years and coached basketball for Catholic Youth Organization. He loved his house, garden and birds. Visitation will be at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont on Wednesday from 5-8PM with a Vigil Service at 7PM. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday 10AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 37891 2nd Street in Fremont. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Oakland.
