When Diane died, mom had already endured the loss of a son and husband. I don't know how my mother, Mary Stockman, survived so many terrible losses. She was the strongest woman I have ever known. On Aug. 29 2008, she went to be with Diane, my brother Roy, and my father Lewis.
The photo I selected is of the three of us...mom, Diane and me. It was taken Easter Sunday 1978. Mom is on the left, Diane on the right, and me in the front.
A very special thank you to Diana for sponsoring Diane's memorial! Find A Grave has so many wonderful people...they never cease to amaze me with their kindness and generosity.
