Anna was born in Bondin Township. She grew to womanhood in the Fulda area. Anna was united in marriage to William Getzel on January 16, 1918 and was devoted to her home & family, true to her friends, and it can truly be said of her, none knew her but to love her. Anna passed away at her home three and one-half miles northeast of Fulda at the age of 25 years 11 months and 22 days.
William & Anna were the parents of Lucille Gerber, William Joseph "Joe", Dorothy Gerdes, Douglas & James Leroy.
Anna's siblings include Mrs. Roy Lott, Mrs. John Meyer, Helen Fae (Shirley) Hill, Verl, George, Roy & Paul.
Funeral services were conducted from the Presbyterian Church at Fulda, Rev. Sydenstricker officiating.
