Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Jackson Armfield 91, of route 1, Mount Airy were conducted Sunday at Oak Grove United Methodist Church with burial in Oakdale Cemetery. Surviving are three daughters, Miss Irene Armfield of the home, Mrs. O.L. Badgett of route 2, Mount Airy and Mrs. A.R. Frye of Hopewell, Va.; three sons, James Armfield of Atlanta, Ga., Joe Armfield of route 2, Mount Airy and Jack Armfield of route 1, Mount Airy; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
