Daniel Fredrick Lill Jr., 72, of Cheyenne died Oct. 6 at Cheyenne Healthcare Center.
He was born Nov. 1, 1932, in Chicago and had lived here since 1948.
He graduated from Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, Ill., on May 29, 1952, and the Technical School of the National Radio Institute in Washington, D.C., and attended U.S. Air Force Service Schools.
He moved to Cheyenne in 1948. Mr. Lill served in the U.S. Air Force from June 3, 1952, to June 1, 1956, and then was in the U.S. Air Force Reserves earning numerous achievements and merit awards, ending with an honorable discharge.
Mr. Lill was Central Office Equipment Mechanic and Tech Instructor at F.E. Warren AFB.
He was a member of AMORC of San Jose, Calif., American Law Enforcement Association, American Society of Physic Research, British Society of Physic Research and Council of Witches. He loved choir music.
Daniel never married. He is survived by many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Martha Lill.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Friends may contribute to the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
