Katherine I. Alford, 93, of Rushville died Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, at Rush Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Moster Mortuary, 334 N. Main St. in Rushville.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery in Rushville.

Katherine I. "Grandma Honey" Alford, 93, of Rushville, died Aug. 18, 2008.
Born May 13, 1915 in Manilla, she was the daughter of Oliver and Gertrude Ramsey Copple, both deceased.
Mrs. Alford spent her entire life in Rush County. She worked several years as a practical nurse at Rush Memorial Hospital and in private homes. She was a member of the Rushville Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include sons, Sherman (Chintana) Bane and Kenneth (Chang) Bane, both of Muncie; daughters, Nancy (Bob) Glover, Rosemary (Charles) Paugh, Faith Sadler (and David Hankins), Jeanie Ralstin, and Priscilla (Henry "Hank") Glover, all of Rushville; 26 grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, three sisters, three sons (including Howard Bane) and two grandsons.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Moster Mortuary in Rushville. Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary. David Fields and the Rev. Jeff Edwards will preside.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rushville VFW Honor Guard.
