Mr. Lachner was born May 14, 1955, in Fremont, to Alex and Rose Ann (Lagrou) Lachner.
Surviving are his parents in Fremont, sons, Andrew and Eric of Mount View, Calif.; brothers Lynn Lachner of Sandusky; Michael, Christopher, and Jason Lachner, all of Fremont; and a sister, Susan McDiarmid of Fremont.
Memorial services will be at 11 am Saturday at Sacred Heart Church.
Memorials may be made to the Sandusky Couty Hospice.
