He was born November 30, 1936 in Price, UT to Charles F. Masters and Edith Buckley. Carl served in the U. S. Army and Air National Guard for many years and found great joy in life by reading and playing with trains. He was most happy when found on the ballroom dance floor with Sally.
He is survived by his wife, Sally Jo Masters, and his sons: Bryan L. John C., Robert J., Sean P., Richard W. and his step-children: Steven D. Muir, Terry L. Beazer, Myra Jo Colledge, Cindy M. Husband, Kelly R. Muir, Roger T. Muir, Troy L. Muir, ex-wife Mary Lee Masters and 52 grandchildren and 19 great-grand children.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Granger West 7th Ward Chapel, 4460 West Cortney Drive (2925 South) in West Valley City, with a viewing 1 hour prior to the services. Friends may also call on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the McDougal Funeral Home 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West) in Taylorsville.
Interment at Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
