Son of Robert Telford Arnott and Eva Frances Brown, husband of Emily Elizabeth "Lizzie" Hyde, whom he married on October 31, 1899 in Sayville, New York.

Albert was living in the home of his parents, Robert and "Frank" Arnott, in Brookhaven in 1880. His father, Robert, was described as a farm hand.

Marriage - Albert Arnott of Patchogue, and Miss Lizzie Hyde, of Bayport, were married
last Tuesday evening at the Edwards cottage by the Rev. Arthur F. Newell. Arthur Terry was best man and his sister, Mrs. George Reeve was bridesmaid. Mr. and Mrs. Arnott are to live in Blue Point.

Obituary - Albert Arnott, a member of the Salvation Army of Patchogue, died of pneumonia on Sunday and was buried on Tuesday afternoon from the army barracks. The deceased in October married Miss Lizzie Hyde, of Bayport, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. A.F. Newell of the Congregational Church of this village who also attended the funeral.
