The son of the late William S. and Emma Bayless Cox he was a member of the Alpha Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife Bessie Henson Cox ;five sons,Hugh,Carroll,
Howell,Senter and C.P.Jr. all of Morristown,Tennessee;four daughters,Mrs.Francis Watts,Detroit,Michigan,Mrs. Kate Guinn,Marion,Indiana,Mrs. Mary Spoon,Elwood,Indiana and Mrs. Nellie Fox,Morristown,Tennessee;Step-son Jack Dickerson,Marion,Indiana;sister Mrs.W.J.Wilson,
Knoxville,Tennessee;aunt Mrs. Bertie Cameron,Talbott,
Tennessee.
Preceeding him in death were his mother and father,his first wife Nannie Senter Cox,1939,and a daughter Mrs. Dessie McKinney,Marion,Indiana,Sept.11,1963.
Services will be held at 2p.m. Tuesday at Brooks Mortuary. Rev. S.D.Rhodes and Rev. Carroll Self will officiate.
Interment in Sunderland Cemetery.
The family will recieve Friends this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brooks.
